Texas State University – St. David’s School of Nursing

Convergent Technologies is providing audiovisual systems with associated supporting infrastructure design for the new school of nursing at the University of Texas, El Paso. This is a single design phase project and will commence with Design Development phase and conclude with Construction Administration of the installed systems and associated infrastructure. Responsibilities include the review of the existing programmatic requirements and school standards for the audiovisual systems. The spaces consist of Seminar Rooms, Case Study Room, Group Study, Board Room, Conference Rooms, CLS Teaching Lab, Exercise Teaching Lab and General Classrooms. The project also features a swipe card automated clinical training management system to allow instant data retrieval of users and exams, collaborative case study development, simulator event and session debriefing. The project is currently in the Construction Administration phase.
